Larry Henninger
Mr. Henninger is founder and chief executive officer of Henninger and Associates, a consulting firm specializing in international and small business management and finance.
In addition to domestic clients, Mr. Henninger serves clients in Eastern Europe and the European Union. From 1987 to 1992, he served as a U.S. representative to Normandy, France, and provided advice and support to increase trade and investment between high-technology companies of the United States and Europe.
Prior to forming his consulting firm in 1981, he was co-founder, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial and Administrative Office of Baron Data Systems of San Leandro, California. The initial public offering for Baron Data Systems occurred in 1983. Previously, Mr. Henninger was a co-founder and the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer of the Acurex Corporation, based in Mountain View, California. Before joining Acurex, he held several supervisory and management positions at Ford Aeorospace in Palo Alto, California.
Mr. Henninger has served on the Board of Directors of several California and Nevada companies. He is the founder of and active member of the Sierra Angels, a venture investment group. He was a founding shareholder and served on the Advisory Board of University Bank and Trust of Palo Alto (acquired by Comerica).
In 1986 he founded, and until 1999 was chair of the Santa Clara University Forum, a group which provides CEOs with a forum for problem solving and personal development. He was a founding member of the Peninsula Financial Forum, an organization of chief financial officers of Bay Area high-technology companies.
Currently, Mr. Henninger is an Executive Fellow at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the SCU Leavey School of Business and Administration. In 1996, he completed three terms (nine years) as a member of the Advisory Board of the Leavey School of Business and Administration. He is former Director and past President of the SCU MBA Alumni Association. In 1989, the SCU Leavey School of Business and Administration presented Mr. Henninger the Distinguished Alumni Award.
Mr. Henninger was a longtime Executive Board Member of the Pacific Skyline Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is an Eagle Scout and a recipient of the BSA Silver Beaver Award. He was the committee chairman and continues to serve on the Distribution Committee of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.
Mr. Henninger earned an AB in Economics from Stanford and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
His member affiliations include the Silicon Valley Capital Club, the Commonwealth Club of California and the Churchill Club. He is a former member of the Rotary Clubs of Palo Alto and Incline Village.
