Mr. Coakley has over 10 years of experience teaching and counseling high school and college students. As the President of Academic Coaching Services, Inc., an educational consulting firm, Mr. Coakley specializes in College Planning and Preparation for students and parents. Additionally, he provides counseling and guidance for students with Attention Deficit Disorder and their families.

Coakley is also the current President of the Harvard Club of Nevada and is Northwestern's Alumni Admissions Counselor for Southern Nevada. A member of the Western Association for College Admissions Counselors and the Association for Curriculum Supervision and Development, Mr. Coakley also serves on the Board of Directors for a Nevada chapter of CHADD [Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Disorder]. Mr. Coakley and his family make their home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Coakley obtained his B.S. in Education from Northwestern University and his Ed.M. in Counseling Psychology from Harvard.
